Thyroid Testing: You have to have the complete panel.

Thyroid testing across the country in most cases is inadequate to evaluate the Thyroid. Most Thyroid testing is only TSH and maybe one other value. To properly evaluate the Thyroid one has to have the complete panel. Many times a patient can have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis which is autoimmune disease and other values are normal.
