Light Field Blood Microscopy

Dark Field Blood microscopy is used by some nutrition Physicians in order to evaluate the blood and determine what the patient needs nutritionally. Most of the American population is not familiar with nutritional therapy. Even more have never heard of Dark Field Blood microscopy.

Light Field Blood Microscopy shows us a lot of information with just one small drop of blood. Some of the things that we see are digestive problems with protein or fat, Uric acid crystals, White blood cells , cholesterol crystals and B vitamin deficiencies. Of course there are many other things that we can evaluate with the Dark Field Blood Microscope.

Light Field Blood Microscopes can be essential in a Nutrition Practice.

Amazingly with just one drop of blood, one sees red blood cells moving as well as many other things. In my practice, this tool adds to our ability to evaluate a patient.

Just today I evaluated a patient with my dark field blood microscope. The red blood cells were clumping and not moving like they should. In this case, it indicated that they may not be digesting proteins properly. It could also be an inflammatory condition. So when I coupled that with the consultation, it became obvious that we had some digestive issues. I determined with both the Dark Field Blood microscopy findings and the consultation that they were not digesting fats and proteins. This is causing the fatigue that they were experiencing. In addition by observing the cells, I determined possible folic acid deficiency.

I will reevaluate this patient in 3 to 4 weeks to see how they are responding as well as take another look at their blood under the Light Field Blood microscope. Depending on the patient's feelings at that point, I will know how to proceed in their care.
